Epoxy sprayed steel strand finished cable bodytrr
Project introduction
  • Our company mainly supplies prestressed steel strands for prefabrication of concrete bridges and stay cables for cable-stayed bridge short towers in this project.
    1. The superstructure of the main bridge is in the form of prestressed concrete variable cross-section box girder, width of the main bridge is 33.5 meters. The approach bridge is designed in slats, with a single width of 12.5 meters, the approach bridge adopts a 30-meter standard span small box girder structure. There are total 96 small box girders in the 30-meter Lile River Bridge, and the lifting weight of a single box girder is about 100 tons.

  • 2. The cable-stayed cable is made of 15-91 epoxy sprayed steel strand with double-layer HDPE protection, single strand diameterφ15.2mm, tensile strength fpk=1860MPa. (standard value)
    3. The mechanical properties of all prestressed steel strands used in the project comply with the provisions of "Steel Strands for Prestressed Concrete"(GB/T5224-2014) and EN10138-3:2009, their anti-corrosion properties meet the requirements of ASTM A882/A882M-02a and ISO 14655:1999. The fatigue resistance of the cable-stayed cable should meet the upper limit of stress σmax =0.45fptk, the stress amplitude of 200MPa, and the wire breakage rate of ≤2% after 2 million cycles.

Products advantageous
  • 1.Prestressed concrete (PC) strands are commonly used in the construction of concrete beams to provide tensile strength and reinforcement.
2.These strands are often pre-tensioned or post-tensioned within the concrete to increase load-bearing capacity and reduce cracking.
3.The use of PC strands helps improve the overall structural performance and durability of concrete beams. Prestressed concrete (PC) strands are commonly used in the construction of concrete beams to provide tensile strength and reinforcement.
